7 Inclusion Month Quotes for February

Picture of a calendar

February starts this Sunday and it’s North American Inclusion Month!

Initially established by the Yachad/National Jewish Council for Disabilities in 2010, North American Inclusion Month (NAIM) is a time to recognize the need for more opportunities for people with disabilities, primarily in education and employment.

It’s the perfect time for people to stop and reflect on how they can personally be more inclusive regarding those with intellectual, developmental, or physical disabilities. The goal is to make sure that the individuals in those communities feel that they are just as much a part of the community as everyone living without disabilities.

The goal of NAIM isn’t just to create a better understanding of people with disabilities’ needs and wants for four weeks, it’s to promote awareness and the desire to take a more positive approach all year long.

In preparation for that, we wanted to share a few of our favorite quotes on the topic.
