New Jersey Makes the Move to Fee For Service

In July, the state of New Jersey replaced its contract based Medicaid reimbursement system and implemented a fee for service model.  With this shift in payment methodology, individuals receiving services will have the flexibility of an individual budget; a person-centered model.  Individuals will experience this choice driven system, powered by community integration with a goal of supporting individuals living independent lives, working in their communities.
