President Lyndon B. Johnson signed Medicare and Medicaid into law on July 30, 1965 as amendments to the Social Security Act. Medicaid and Medicare began as programs to provide health insurance to low-income Americans.

The title of this post may sound like a joke - but it's incredibly serious, incredibly sad, and sadly very true.
After decreasing last year, the waiting list for Oklahomans needing I/DD services has grown again, to the highest level ever.
